Thank you for the link to the new Github location.
Will there be a “basic 101” video or manual for those of us who are completely new to GameOn?
At the moment I find it a bit difficult to work my way into how GameOn functions.

A manual, videos, and contextual help is all on the to do list. Is there any particular place you are stuck? Is it the concept or more how to do things? If you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to discuss this more with you when we get to the writing of the manual. It is difficult for me to remember the the stumbling blocks to first encountering game on and it would help to speak to a new user before writing the manual. I’ll be in touch when the time comes, but feel free to ask questions in the meantime.

Mick, thank you!
I’ll give you a couple of thoughts here to begin with:
I first encountered the idea of gamification a couple of years ago.
I started working on Escape Rooms, and I have built three portable versions (portable, as in: with a handle to carry them around).
I then began wondering if I could gamify my confirmation class curriculum.
I found the tools created by Michael Matera (www.mrmatera.com) and the Excel sheet ‘Gamification Control Center’ (http://explorelikeapirate.com/product/gamification-control-panel).
I then found Chris Aviles’ very similar Excel Gamification Sheet – and his examples of a Shop (https://sites.google.com/site/sagacitylearning/item-shop)
I have used that as a base to gamify my curriculum and introduce a Shop, Levels, etc.
I have also tried building a site using LearnDash LMS and the GamiPress plugin.
And then I read about GameOn.
Is GameOn like Matera’s Gamification Control Center, where the teaching does not take place using an LMS but ‘normal’ classroom teaching?
What is the first thing to do in GameOn?
Where do I begin?
After I have decided on a narrative and have started rewriting/regrouping my class curriculum into ‘Expeditions’ (as I call them), what do I do in GameOn?
Can I have both Expeditions and Sideexpeditions?
How do I link them together, so that the next Expedition is only available when the first is completed?
Can I still create quizzes, etc., using H5P?
How do students log in?
What is Loot? I know of XP points, but is that the same?
Do I have to use Seats?
And can I translate parts or all of GameOn to my native language, Danish?

Any way to toggle off “headshots”? I have students under 13 and I don’t want to collect photos or associate real names with their usernames on the site for security purposes, so I really don’t want them uploading a headshot.
Otherwise: Looking really good, I just watched the video and I’m about to install the update.
